high reliability
both the transmission chain and the complete machine become more reliable on the account of lower speed of gearbox and generator, fewer transmission parts and bearings and integrated design of important auxiliary devices and sensors for medium-speed permanent magnet synchronous generator and medium and low-speed gearbox; resilient pin roll is adopted for the gearbox so that the load on the gear is finally shared by the pin roll, thus improving the reliability of the gearbox; the permanent magnet synchronous generator is designed to eliminate the need of regular operation maintenance due to use of carbon brush; lower transmission chain speed can reduce the wear of bearings of the generator and gearbox and improve the reliability of the gearbox and generator; forced lubrication with thin oil is adopted to effectively control the heat generated by rotation of transmission chain, hence reducing the wear and improving the reliability; ultra-compact design and short load transfer path enhance the reliability of wtgs.
light weight
the main machine volume, windward area and weight are greatly reduced by virtue of ultra-compact design. consequently, the hoisting and transportation of the wtgs become easier.
independent r&d and manufacture of blade
the research on large blade system of megawatt-class wind turbines and aeroelastic stability analysis is conducted jointly with other r&d centers from denmark and north america to ensure the optimal overall performance of blade aerodynamic structure and to improve the reliability of blade design. the blades of newly developed model are designed and manufactured on the basis of customization to achieve the match between the load and the blade’s structural strength, between the aerodynamic performance and the speed of the impeller, the gearbox and the generator so as to improve the performance of the complete machine.
inherent good environmental adaptability
the existing models include low-temperature, normal-temperature, plateau, coastal, anti-typhoon, offshore and wide-temperature wtgss so as to meet the adaptability requirements in different conditions of temperature, atmospheric pressure, salt spray, limit wind speed and other factors.
